ICS 200 - ICS for Single Resources and Initial Action Incidents
Course Overview
ICS 200 is designed to enable personnel to operate efficiently during an incident or event within the Incident Command System (ICS). ICS-200 provides training on and resources for personnel who are likely to assume a supervisory position within the ICS.
This is a second in a series of ICS courses designed to meet the all-hazard, all-agency NIMS ICS requirement for operational personnel.
ICS-100 is a pre-requisite to the ICS-200 course.
Course Objective
Describe an Incident Command System (ICS) organization appropriate to the complexity of an incident or event. Use the ICS to manage an incident or event.

Audience
All federal, state, territorial, tribal, private sector and non-governmental personnel at the first line supervisor level, middle management level and command and general staff level of emergency management operations must complete ICS 200 level training.
NIMS Compliance
This course is NIMS compliant and meets the NIMS Baseline Training requirements for ICS-200.
